Thiago Silva, N’Golo Kante, and Antonio Rudiger all scored in the second half to help Chelsea beat Tottenham 3-0 on Sunday.
Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel introduced N’Golo Kante after the break-in what turned out to be a lopsided victory for the guests.
Chelsea’s unbeaten start to the Premier League campaign means they are now level on points with Liverpool at the top of the table.
After winning their first three league games under new manager Nuno Espirito Santo, Tottenham has now lost back-to-back games.
An emotional minute of applause was given before kickoff by both teams and fans in memory of Jimmy Greaves, the late former Tottenham and Chelsea striker who died on Sunday at the age of 81.
Spurs had the better of the first half, with few clear-cut chances for the visitors. After 33 minutes, Son was denied by Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga from close range.
Mason Mount had been replaced by Kante after the break and Chelsea had already taken the lead through Silva’s header from a Marcus Alonso corner.
Three minutes later, Alonso came close to doubling Chelsea’s lead, but Eric Dier brilliantly cleared his strike.
But just before the hour mark, Kante’s shot deflected off Dier and into the bottom corner.
Hugo Lloris parried Silva’s header after 76 minutes after another corner almost gave the hosts a second goal.
3-0 was the final score when Rudiger finished off Timo Werner’s low cross in stoppage time.
