78 new confirmed cases and 2 fatalities – NCDC

Nigeria has 78 new confirmed cases and 2 fatalities as of October 10th, 2021.

In 36 states and the District of Columbia, a total of 207694 cases have been confirmed, 195274 patients have been discharged, and 2747 fatalities have been reported.

78 new cases are reported from 11 states: Lagos (22), Kaduna (12), Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Benue (9), Imo (8), Akwa Ibom (4), Delta (4), Kano (4), Jigawa (3), Plateau (1), and Rivers (1).

The national response actions are being coordinated by a multi-sectoral EOC activated to Level 2.

Globally, as of 5:52 pm CEST, 11 October 2021, there have been 237,383,711 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 4,842,716 deaths, reported to WHO. As of 10 October 2021, a total of 6,364,021,792 vaccine doses have been administered.
